Chef of the Year 2008
From the start the
competition ran as smoothly as only a well-oiled machine
can, forgotten are the months and weeks of relentless
preparations culminating in a very professional and premier
event, a showcase for talent from all over Ireland.
Great credit to the Leinster branch who organised the event
then, not forgetting our sponsors Bunzil McLaughlin and of
course the generosity of Mr.Tom Morran for allowing the use
of the venue and all of the members of the Panel of Chefs
who have given of their time and effort WELL DONE EVERYONE.
Yes there are winners and losers in any competition, and
have no doubt the winners of medals deserved them but if you
were not able to make it for the show then believe me the
standard was phenomenal with some of the best chefs around
competing for glory with only exceptional judging able to
determine between many of the entries.
